Luna

"Luna" is an original 24x24x 3/4" mixed media painting on canvas. This piece is from my new 'Pacific Northwest' collection inspired by my recent trip to Washington State.  I was lucky enough to spend two weeks in the seaside town of Steilacoom, WA surrounded by glorious flowers, hummingbirds, blue skies and the Puget Sound. The colors and flowers were so crisp and lovely. Luna is a goddess who emerged intuitively from my canvas, one brushstroke at a time.  Her face appears like the beach and sunset, while she is surrounded by a haven of tall trees, bright flowers and hummingbird whispers.
