Symphony

Symphony is a 12x12x1.5 Mixed Media Painting inspired by the 1946 hit song about falling in love by Freddy Martin. The swallow here is represented the swirls and lines evoking a 'symphony' of song. And she has a little gold heart in her plumage as well!

 This is the 7th painting in my 'Vintage Vinyl' series inspired by top songs from 1940-1980.

The mixed media layers of this painting include pages from a French romance novel, handmade mono printed papers, handmade Nepalese and paper from two of my favorite shops in Paris.

Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame. Sides are painted a rich, nearly black teal to match the greens in the piece.
